What is S.E.R.V.E.

SERVE is an intense two weeks designed to give young adults the opportunity to deepen thier Christian faith through an experince of the Redemptorist lifestyle and vision of church, which emphasizes preaching the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned. Here’s how:

Community- Stay, pray, chat, work, and play with the same handful of young adults and Redemptorists. Free time for going out or powering down is definitely on the agenda. A word of warning from a past participant… “be prepared for an AMAZING time”.

Service- Participate in the minsitry of The Welcome Home and volunteer at Siloam Mission. In doing this kind of service, you will rub sholders with Christ who is present in everyone, especially in “the least of these”.

Prayer- Connect with God through group and individual prayer. Celebrating the Divine Liturgy and Vespers, and taking time for reflection and discussion takes the experience of SERVE to a whole new level.
